The Lovers' War

by alienbaby   Jun 3, 2008

Walking down the trail
Next to the flowing stream
We made our way through
This young lover's dream

The creek water flows
Even and steady
Pacing itself until
The young lover's ready

Ready to become
The most beautiful bride
But for now she must stay here
In a dream land and hide

The lover is lonely
Her counter part has gone
Off to fight a war
That will never be won

The young lover waits
For Him to come back
But his love, her heart
Will forever lack

He shall never return
For he'll die in this war
And from her chest, her heart
She'll have tore

She wont be able
To withstand this pain
She'll go crazy without him
She'll never be sane

It's better to have loved and lost
Then cried and died
Than to loved and lost
And had to survive
