A Mistake

by Miss Lovely   Jun 4, 2008

My body stumbles and falls to the floor.
Scraping up my face
and shaking my fragile bones.
My breath is shallow and I'm loosing air.
My skin is cold and bare.

My eyes and face burn
and the tears keep falling.
I lay here lifeless.
No way of even crawling.
God, I wish I hadn't pushed you away.
If you were here...
You'd hold me in your arms
and tell me that it'll be ok.
You'd kiss my forehead
and protect me from anymore damage
that could be done.
You'd clean me up
and help me heal.
No prize to even be won.

The nightmares crept up.
And the memories came back.
It'd been so long since I've had to deal with that.
Knowledge of what to do...was in lack.

I lay here thinking of you.
I must hold on...
There's nothing else to do.

Tears my flow
And my bones could break.
If you were to fall..
-I'd catch you somehow-
...No matter my fate...

I made a mistake and pushed you away.

I like this a lot, you were so descripitve! Here is some thoughts:

"God I wish I hadn't pushed you away."

Put a comma after God, it will make it better.

You have I'd hat, it should be I've had.

And I have some titles if you want them, "A Mistake", "Pushed You Away", "I Made A Mistake". Hope this helps, nice job! :)
