Last Tribute

Let me sing,
Let me sing,
Through the the screams and yells for life
Through the long,devastating fight
Let me sing myself to sleep
Let me sing for the memories i keep
Let me calm my baby's cries
Let me wipe my mother's eyes
Let me sing for my childhood days
Let me feel my last sun rays
Let me run in the open farms
Leave me safe in my father's arms
Tell my wife i always care
Tell my sister , I'll be there
Catch me papa, as i trip
Comfort me momma,I'm loosing grip
Let me sing for the open skies
Let me sing as my voice dies
Lend your hand I need you here
I need you to fight my fears
I don't want to go away
I don't want to betray
I know I've got promises to keep
I'm helpless now,I need to sleep
Let me sing for there are many other
Man-against-man killing your own brothers
Let me sing throughout this war
Let me sing, I have to go far

Here I am reading another one of your poems because I can't turn around without one being infront of me, i'm glad it's such a treat to read them, I especially liked the trip grip lines, very well written, great job
