I Give Up

I can admit it now- "I love you"
I can tell people- "He's the one"
I can dream- "Someday"
I can't tell you- "I love you"
I can't tell people- "We're together"
I can't dream- "Someone else"
I can try to move one- "Oh, I like him now"
I can try to tell people- "I don't like him anymore"
I can try to dream- "Without him"
But I'm not a very good liar-to my friends or the heart you stole and never gave back- the one I won't even try to get back- I'm just giving up the fight and giving in to everything I wish would come faster. I'm giving up and giving it all to you. I just hope you care like I think you do.
