Child dies

by she   Jun 7, 2008

See you standing there
Upon that crate

Noose lies around your neck
Yet such a content smile is upon your face

From the calmness in your eyes
No one could guess what my dear child did next

My scream rung out
As your body began to compulsively shake

Cut the noose
And held you in my hands

I prayed so hard
as your pulse began to slow
And your body grew cold

In my hands you died that night
My child died that night
No one knows why
But I know maybe If harder I had tried
I would see beauty instead of death in his eyes

-no this is not made up, it happened, not to me though

I love this poem, it reminds me of a poem I wrote a couple weeks ago. It is called imagin (mathew). it is a true story and happened a couple weeks ago. I love reading thing I can relate to, even if they are sad.
