Forgive me God of Love

by Han Nan   Jun 8, 2008

Forgive me, Venus shall you never forgive this cowardly sinner?
Evil lures me to make my heart turn black.
Almost like ice, cold in my heart. I'll never melt.
For my love is now empty, slowly turning into obsessive hate

Moonlit lovers that was once what we were
The endless nights of heartfelt ecstasy have finally ended
I loved you, to the point no man could compare
Does your beauty shine as bright enough to blind me from reality?

My story is sad. You stole the happiness from within me.
This unwanted passion somehow alters into cursed sin.
No soft-spoken cherub will free me from this poison.
Let tormented desire as pure as heaven enfold me

Moonlit lovers, I am the fallen angel
Even God, forever forgiving will not stray his eyes to see me
I'm loosing my mind to the allure of heartache.
Never again shall my heart feel love again.
