The Pain Of Denial

Why am I suffering in so much pain
I'm madly in love I shouldn't feel this way
You'll have to be a secret for now she says
I will tell all about you one day.

She tells me she loves me all of the time
Yet wont tell her friends or her family
Invisible to all that mean anything to her
I'm just a game she can play and put away.

I cannot be without this love of my life
I've tried before and I can't break away
She has some kind of spell over me
It seems the agony is here to stay.

I tell the world of my love for this girl
For I'm a feeble slave to her beauty
Will she ever come clean about me?
If she loves me it must be her duty.
