I was walking down the street one day,
And I saw your beautiful face.
I thought I was dreaming,
As my heart began to race.

You looked back into my eyes,
I smiled and looked away.
I knew right there you were the one,
I knew it from that very day.

That night I wondered,
Thought, wished, dreamed.
Maybe something would happen,
Maybe something that couldn't be seen.

The next day came fast,
Wondering if you to thought of me.
I hoped that I wasn't over-wishing,
But only pondering of what could be.

After that day,
I was never the same.
Things happened,
And I was to blame.

I always wondered what I did wrong,
The first, second, even fifth time.
I did everything you wanted,
But I guess loving you was a crime.

It lasted for a while,
With too many lasting memories.
You told me you loved me,
Now thats all history.

Nothing has changed,
I loved you,
Always have,
Still do.

You told me you loved me,
What did I do wrong?
I replay day after day,
Thinking of what didnt belong.

You still say you love me,
To this very day.
But I guess this poem
Is meant so I can say:

I love you,
Day after day I have.
Don't ever leave me,
Without you I cant survive.

Your kisses and your hugs,
They surround me like fire.
These memories burn,
You are my only desire.

I need you like I need air,
It's crucial to live,
If you weren't here,
I wouldn't be alive.

I don't want this to be good-bye,
If only you knew the tears I've cried.
You're my everything,
Without you I'd die.

I'll never forget,
The things you'll never remember.
My life changed in those months,
When you were my lover.

Not many people know how I feel,
But I know you're always there.
I just wish you still loved me,
I still wish you were here.
