A Bitter Tongue

by Levi   Jun 10, 2008

I scream until my lungs collapse but only wolfs howl in return
My solitude has be torn to shreds before my eyes
As you break me with every word from your cunning tongue
With all these knifes dug deep into my back
I believe in nothing
If I had but only one chance
I'd suffocate you just to watch you sleep
Hopefully to never wake
I'd love to watch you sleep
If only this would be your end
Not even hope seems to hold any truth
Nor the sun offer any light
I can't say I'll pretend to turn a blind eye anymore
Or continue to sleep on broken glass
Betrayed by mere flicks of a tongue
And each digs another knife into my back
I've got nothing left
You've taken everything
And set fire to it
For all the World to see
And spat on the ashes of my entire life
False words and whispers
Keep me under the covers
These ties must be severed
So must throats
No longer will I have my back turned
I'm suffocating you just to watch you sleep
Only this will be your...
End
