Her perfect lie

by Mia   Jun 11, 2008

Hold the stomach in.
Brush away the blemishes.
Hide the mistakes with bangles.
A quick splash of perfume.
& your right out the door.
The sun greats you.
A smile forms your face.
All day it never leaves.
It stays there.
Stronger than ever.
Than as the day comes to end.
You walk back through your front door.
You relax your stomach.
Wipe away that thick mask.
Take off the bangles.
Jump on your bed.
And cry yourself to sleep.
They dont know you see..
They see the smile.
Nothing thats behind it.
And thats the way she will always be.
Perfect in the day light.
And broken in the moon light.
