The Reason The Sword Was Left in The Stone

You want the true raw skin that my body bears? I'm ready to shed off my ego, I'm finally ready to lose.
If I pull this, touch that, what would that do to your heart if I strummed it like a guitar?
Every man will know that even I can get on my knees for you, every man can look down on me and laugh.
All my enemies can see how truly weak I am under this armor, they can get a good look because I'm doing it for you.
I give in, I give up if there was one thing I'd give up to keep you, then I'll be losing everything else that I've fought to win.
I can't say I look too appealing when I'm losing, but every bruise I take, it's a very little price for you to know your value in my heart.
I'm ready to lose tonight, I never thought I would be anticipating to lose, as a man you have me whipped, but that doesn't matter to me.
I can't make much sense of this all, but there's one thing certain, I'm ready to be dishonored, so I can care about you more.
If this is what you really want, if my lowest state of being alive means I can keep you here, then I don't need to worry, living by your side is a blessing itself.
I'm not stupid, dumb or ignorant, I know what I'm doing; I hope you've seen me at my highest, just so you know how difficult it is for me to be at my lowest.
I don't know if this will be full proof but I'm aiming to show you how much I value your existence, and dear, my aim is true.
When it's over and done, I know I'll be in a much better place than standing with a sword and shield in my hand.
I'm wasting my time winning over things that will never be a challenge to me, but this time I've found the very thing I've been fighting to look for.
If this is just another love poem, then you haven't gotten the point of my actions.
If there comes a time where a boy or man must show how weak they are to a woman they want to be with, I guess its my turn.
I'm stripping to my bare skin, and I'm ready to lose..I'm ready to lose. I'm ready to lose it all under a brick wall.
Maybe if I lose, I will be able to win you; that's what I'm hoping for.
