The poets mind.

by Pink Romance   Jun 15, 2008

Many of us write sad poems,
but few of us really are not sad.
some write because they actually
went through it.

but many probably
write because they are
talented in that area.

i have noticed that the ones who
write sad/depression poems, only
write cause they fell sorry...

how do i know you went though
something that horrible, i ask
myself how many actually
write whats true? cause i do.

i never been raped or seriously
abused, but i do struggle with
myself and trying to find out who i am.

i chat with those who suffer with
depression, because they make me fell better.
to hear there problems
aside from mine, and give them
advise in the ares needed.

but i just would like to say
that i write what i feel like many of us do.
i write what i mean, believe me when
i say that i write what i feel.

my poems are half my life and
the words i share to the world
i mean it.

most of us poets write short
stories or life problems, but i
how many lie just to get attention?

maybe not many, but i can tell
you i now that i write for myself and for
others looking for answers.

what i write is no lie,
i just had to say that.
i probably sometimes write
suicide poems and depression.... but
just know that what i write is things
i haven't tried yet.

like suicide i may have attempted it and
never succeeded. what i put on paper
is what goes through my head.

so poets please write about your life
and stop making up false depression stories,
cause many of you have it better than most.

i just would like to add that many of you
are good poets and will succeed in life.
being a poet is like being a singer,
what you say reaches the world.

and some little kid is going
to remember each word
you said.

be honest and don't write
someone else's life story.

*THANK YOU*
