The Pain

My heart seems
to have a hole in it,
if only i could give
back the mistakes
i have made.

No matter what I do,
the pain never seems
to go away. one mistake
after another,
time that can never be
taken back.

All the time I am scared
not sure how to deal
with this pain.

sometimes I want my heart
to just stop beating,
and the tears to stop coming.
