The Body Speaks

by Christina   Jun 15, 2008

Life runs its course,
Driving me insane,
It's like insanity here is forced,
Feeding on the human brain,
The blood oozes out,
Drowning the wounds,
We scream and shout,
But in the end we swoon,
In a world of pandemonium.

Living off mere adrenaline,
Our breaths run short,
A distance of time stretches,
To them this is like a sport,
A mere game to be played,
To win to loose,
But for me this is more,
So much more than just a muse.

Insanity drives my mind,
We are invisible,
We are an iniquity,
We hide so deep within,
So deep no eye can see.

We are the ones who scream and shout,
We are the ones trying to get out,
We are the ones who control your thoughts,
We are the ones that suffer due to your onslaughts.

The drugs are in our veins,
The smoke is in our heads,
We are the human body,
Left for shreds....
