Forgotten Land

by Sean   Jun 17, 2008

A child cries as the skies rain red
The roads and houses filled with the dead
Armies invading to help "save" the land
Power hungry leaders searching in the sand
The resources of this world are no concern for war
It's like cheating in a game to achieve a high score.
You have it all now but what do you do?
Perhaps you're the ones that belong in the zoo,
The animals should be the ones roaming free
Co-existing with one another in harmony
But slowly the leaders tear down their homes
Building up s**t wherever they roam
But truly they need a mirror for themselves
Perhaps the leaders should just sit on the shelves
With the world's destruction coming in heed
Maybe a swift death is just what they need.
