All them lies

by Quinn Specht   Jun 19, 2008

Don't you understand,
that all them lies that you spill
onto me,
I can't take no more.
I put everything out there,
just to hear it all get shredded.
Couldn't you have just spared
me one single emotion?
All I do, is sit here,
and wonder and think...
Did anything mean something to you?
Your words floated out like a butterfly,
now all they do is shatter like glass
cutting all the way down.
To me you were everything,
now all you are is the next news
floating down the street.
How could you do something so wrong,
and think it was so good.
All them lies something I can never forget
and surely never forgive.
All those lies my dear
will break you one day!
