Impatient Flower

by Amaranthine   Jun 19, 2008

The flower impatiently grows;
Trying to beat the cold white snow.
Stretching it's slender stem and green leaves;
Petals starting to bloom as the moon dies.
Swaying in the wind but still standing strong;
Even this flower will one day move along.
Leaving small seeds behind, anxiously awaiting spring.
