Sometimes

by Amaranthine   Sep 11, 2009

Sometimes I reach out,
Stretching my hands toward the sun
(In front of my eyes)

The light decieves me
Every so often,
As is if I could see the color clearly.

Sometimes I reach out,
Stretching my hands toward the moon
(In front of my eyes)

A small glimmer of light for
every so often,
I still know I am here.

Sometimes I reach out,
Stretching my hands toward something
(In front of my eyes)

Every so often, it hurts .
because most of the time I reach out
no one happens to be there.

I must say that I do enjoy your work and i'll be adding you to my favorites.

I enjoyed it; I truly did, but un-like the last poems I have read from you I was unable to connect to this one. It seemed like my heart wasn't able to feel where yours was in this one.

I enjoyed the poem and don't get me wrong, it's just from time to time I'm unable to connect to a poem on the emotional level; I can understand it perfectly on a literary level, but not on an emotional which is where I base most of my judgements and comments from.

    I talk too much.

I must say that I enjoyed it and gave it a five, all your poems are very much a pleasure to read.

    Best Regards,
    Shaun Aka Dark Savior.
