Ghost Boy

by LDA DVA   Jun 20, 2008

*Before you read , this is quite the long poem*

You're me ghost boy,
You wander the empty, lonely
halls of my weary heart.
In search of what, I do not know.

I wish that you would let me go,
let me move on and forget you.
I wish that I could let you know,
that I will always save a place for you
in the depths of my weary heart.

But I need to let go of you, dear ghost boy,
I need to give my whole heart to
a boy that is more then just a ghost,
to a boy who could hold my body as well
as my heart, who could lul me to sleep with
the words of his toungue, please let me go.

Your deperate attempts to keep me as yours
only cause trouble and pain, and I need
the chance to heal.
Please dear ghost boy, if your love is true.
Save me by setting me free, save me by letting
my poor weary heart be.

My dear ghost boy, our song will enchant my
mind forever, your voice will be my sweet lullabye.
But dear ghost boy you are but a ghost and I am
but a girl, a girl who needs to love and be loved,
a girl who needs to feel.

So now I will lock you in the depths of my heart.
And leave room to save anothers.
My ove for you dear ghost boy,
will endure forever.
