In the Dark
we rot
our tears feeding the flame
as the fire ravages the soul
you come and soothe the pain
you kiss away the tears
you wipe away the pain
you take my life in your hands
yet i can not return the favor
i remember the day you died

that day the tears returned
the fire burned wild
the pain hurt again
the sun died with you
and the darkness began its reign

no one knows
the pain is there
i smile and say im ok everytime i do the knife goes deeper
the darkness gorws
my soul dies a little more
