Poem

I hear my wrist it so loudly beats for the razor
It suddenly begins to move so rapidly up and down
I can not control it for its pulse its beat is far beyond what its supposed to be

Bum bum
Bum bum

My ears begin to bleed for this horrible sound is all I can hear

I scream aloud as blood from my ears pour

But through my screams and gnawing of teeth
I hear
Just barely
A voice call out to me
He gently places his hand upon my wrist
And when they meet
My screams are hushed
My beating is calmed
My spasing wrist is still
And before my eyes my wounds instantly close up and heal
I have no words
Al I can do is stare into the eyes of this man of such compassion and power, this man, my lord, my savior
And wonder how it is that anyone especially him can care?

the amazing depth of the lords compassion is a mystery to me
so i take his hand thats now slide down into mine
and begin this new life with a clang
as i drop the knife

not done

During camp we talked about how we're just SO small. we're this little blip on this little planet in this little galaxy in this HUGE universe. and yet Christ loves us. and yet Christ DIED for us. isn't it just amazing?
