I'm Bored

I feel like the sky without stars
like a cell-phone without any bars

you can tell something is missing
Sitting here just hoping and wishing

with my head between my knees
and my hands over my head like trees

l cross all my fingers like ts
pondering what to fulfill as my heart beats

the deafening ticks of the clock
Which breaks the silence I cannot stop

my fist now forced against my cheeks
this is a test that I cannot cheat

my cheeks now puffed up with air
as i release painfully i stare

into my pillow I sink my head
with eyelids closed to imagine instead

I can only hope as i lay
that tomorrow will not be as boring as today
