Where I Belong

by Jenn   Jun 27, 2008

Staring into the mirror,
I don't know what to say.
Something in my heart has changed,
Full of fear; so afraid.
Can you help me out of this hole?

This is far too hard for me,
Longing for you to see,
I've forgotten how to feel,
I'm stuck in a transparent dream.

My eyes are black and white,
Choosing wrong over right.
I've turned into a shade of grey.

Who have I become?
My faith is so strong
In things I've thrown away.
My Life is buried in the ground.

Tossing and turning every night,
Can't tell the night from day,
Spinning in circles day in and day out.

I'm so sorry for treating you wrong.
Please believe I will find who I've become.

Who is that girl staring back at me?
Fixed eyes and broken wings.
My faith was thrown away
In things I once believed so strong.

You walk away, eyes to the ground.
My faith goes with you.
Hear that piano playing
Soft music of our past.

I'm so sorry For treating you wrong,
Please believe I will find where We Belong.
