In the land of Utopia

by Mads Avnboeg   Jun 27, 2008

I have seen a beauty beyond compare
A being so innocent, tender and shy
That she must be an angel, sent by the gods
To fill my empty void with warmth, life and love
She illuminates my path with a dazzling light
This must be what love and devotion are
And has been since the time of dawn
The archaic relic of the universal love
Though we walk the same earth
We'll never walk together
Religion and race has put a invincible barrier between us
I can only admire her secretly, my devotion kept hidden away
In my dreams she always walks beside me
In the land of Utopia, we are free of all earthly strings,
to be us, to be one, to be lovers, husband and wife
