A Humble Florist (Octelle)

by Indian Comma Bean   Jun 27, 2008

Pitter-patter in the forest,
Nature works, a humble florist.
Tending to the gentle scene,
Carefully she works unseen.
Flowers cry, a newborn child,
As rain falls down in the wild.
Pitter-patter in the forest,
Nature works, a humble florist.

Wow man what a great short, simple yet complicated poem. I came here to rest for a moment and read a few words of warm poetry and I was not let down as I found your poem and enjoyed it quite a bit. I think you did a great job and found the right words to express the thoughts your pen had pent up. Nice job
