The Queen of Everything (monotetra)

by Ashleigh Skye   Jun 30, 2008

How can I bring myself to care,
when everything I want is there,
its about as difficult as breathing air,
I swear, I swear...

With no need to beg, no need to deny,
the challenge has left, no need to try,
myself I don't even have to apply,
I could cry, I could cry..

What's the point in staying strong,
when everything is right and nothing is wrong,
I've got the whole world sing out my song,
come along, come along...

Maybe one day the light will change,
and everything I know will rearrange,
and the life I have now I can exchange,
oh how strange, oh how strange...

The Queen of everything I'll stay for today,
and I will smile when you say good day,
but tomorrow I will run away,
oh blessed day, oh blessed day...

    The Queen of Everything

This poem is very cute. I like the way that it flowed and kept my interst. Do the last lines have to repeat only twice, because the fisrt two repeated three time would add more to it. otherwise I was a cute funnt poem and I truly injoyed it.
