Then she jumps...

by Katie   Jul 1, 2008

She puts on her hood and takes a step outside
It's a different world out there
She feels safer
The monster can't get her

She likes the rain
No one knows She is crying
She hates the sun
Feels like her problems are burning into her

Her father remarried a demon
Didn't know what the devil could cause
Took all their money
Spent it on her

Her only home was where her mother was
But since she is gone
Where does she go now

She walks down the street
She gets to the rusty gate
And tears are running down her cheeks
With one steady push
She's on the ground that contains her mother

She sets the rose on marble stone
And takes off her jacket
It start to rains and she breaths in
Breaths in her life

Her hand runs along her left arm
She feels her cuts of
Isolation
Depression
Humiliation

She smells the deep sea
That's just to her right
Down a three hundred foot cliff
She takes a few steps

She holds out her arms
Prays for it not to hurt
She smiles and
Then she jumps
