Welcome to Life.

Our bodies are cold. The ice breaks as our feet hit the floor. I put my head on your chest and I'm hoping you'll let me in. It feels like heaven when we touch and it's times like this when I hope you'll be here till the end. I'm aware that tomorrow the world could end, so just let me say this; I love you, you're all I've ever dreamed of. And I need you so much. Can you feel it? We can drive across the states and tape the mirrors to make sure we don't take any second glances at the past. Our bodies are moving at the speed of light and our minds are right here in this moment. The caffeine in our systems is a guarantee that we won't miss a thing. Our heartbeats are synced as one, colliding with the beat of the stereo. My sanity is forever riding on this. So talk a little bit more, just so I can hear your voice. It hasn't yet been engraved into my memory. Guiding me to the light, the first thing I see when I wake up is your face. And this, this is how I know you're right. The pages have been torn from this god-forsaken book, just to make room for better words to be written. Just for this one night, I'll breathe you in and hope I get it right. This is the one thing I've always been waiting for. This is what everything is about. You. Simply you. So, I'd like you to know, that with every kiss, you're saying "Welcome to Life." So lets just keep driving and see where this takes us. Welcome to life.
