Outpouring emotions

by Goodbye   Jul 2, 2008

Who cares about the broken hearts
hunted souls, fairy tales gone bad
The poems will never be read or
smiles that will remain unseen

Who cares about depressed minds
unhealed wounds, dull pain in your brain,
the relationships never meant to last

Does it really matter at all
when you are down you have to crawl
and all your best friends are gone
and you have nothing to hold on to?

Flash a smile, take a long breathe
bag your suitcase, we are taking off

Dial the numbers, phone your mommy
tell her we are coming -you and your wasted life

Walk to busstop, keep on smiling
nodding your pretty head despite of
you don't understand a word she just said

Bite a lemon, taste how sweet is
yellow acid, liquid on your tongue
Remember to be thankful for
every morsel of divine happiness

This your life, this is your time, this is
everything that you have deserved
your so called destiny -as you say
