Just Open Your Eyes.

There are certain instances where things like this would be acceptable. Every song that I've written about you no longer has any meaning. I promise that you've never looked so good. It's just a shame that this isn't you. The dreams of us have been trashed and scattered. Take photographs, take all your memories and toss them in the fire. The clouds are ripping through the sky like dynamite. My jaw aches from all the repetition. I guess the contemplated actions you left me memories are all I have left of who I thought you were, and they're starting to take control of the situation. All the scripted likes of our make believe fairy tale are starting to haunt me. It makes me wonder if I really had you at all, or if I had the person you wanted everyone to believe you were. I can't hide the truth as well as you. Everyone is well aware that I was in love with the ghost of you. So darling, when you're willing to let me in, I'll be here waiting. Just open your eyes.
