I love this poem alot.
the part of the trembling child reminds me so much of myself it really really does. well alot of parts in this poem remind me of myself. but it is a beautiful poem

Powerful poem, i reread it over three times and each time it hit me in different ways. i liked the flow of it and the way it was started all the way to the end. it is a great / sad poem. keep up the good work

Wow, this was wonderful! truly miraculous, i loved it. there was so much emotion conveyed in such a simple story. These were my favorite lines, bc they reminded me so much of what it would look like to look at me.
Our eyes meet and you give a sad smile slowly
in your eyes I can see all the pain of a lifetime
The disappointment of so many empty promises and broken dreams
Seems the weight of the world is upon you

there are people whom we have met, have loved and ended up being strangers... but if you still love them...if ever you're going to meet again... you're hoping to feel the same way again......

This was really beautiful,the metaphors and imagery was excellent. I love the feeling it portrays of love always finding each other again somehow. At least I would like to believe that!
