The right moment

by Tryphenaa   Jul 5, 2008

I hear time ticking away
I hear air swimming everywhere
I hear voices in my head
I hear the trumpet that ends my life

I see time moving forward
I see blood rushing through my head
I see frustration banging on my head
I see the doorway to end it all

I walk towards that doorway I see
I ran down the path I choose to take
But when I reach it
I just stood there
Waiting for the courage to open it

Now seeing its almost time
I turn back to admire everything for the last time
To make up for the wrong things that Ive done
As my hand touched the cold doorknob
I feel that in my heart
I realize I wasnt ready yet
I couldnt do it

I pulled back slowly
And just stood there
As I patiently wait
For the right moment to come
