Writer's Block

I guess they call this writer's block
Trying to pull art out of thin air
But there isn't any poems here
Or any rhymes over there

It's what you get when you can't sleep
Or write poems in your bed
And all the words you've rhymed before
Sound so wrong in your head

And as I lay awake in bed
Through another poem-less night
I guess that these three stanzas
Were all that I could write
