Dedicated to Cav's Class of '08

by Rose   Jul 7, 2008

I will never forget,
That very first step
We took into the school.
Looking like dorky fools,
We were short and small,
Cautious to not trip and fall.
Our book bags were bigger than us.
Freshman Friday was always a big fuss.
All the trips and Field Day,
Having fun in every way.

Then came 7th grade,
Where many things changed.
That's when all the drama occurred.
Everything was a big blur.
Some friendships were broken and some were made.
Some hearts were mended while some were played.
All the gossip and misunderstandings
Led to arguing and fighting.
Though, it was one rough and crazy year,
We made it through the pain and tears.

Finally, senior year was here
The most exciting time with my peers
It didn't turn out to be what I expect.
But my friends & classmates made it perfect.
We lacked many senior events and dances
But the prom made up for it all
Our random perverted comments
Were one of the best moments
We had during class.
This year went by really fast.
I still remember how I wanted school to end.
But now, I can't let go of my friends.
I can't believe we graduated already.
I laugh how I thought time was so steady.

These 3 years have made me realize
That even though we all fight,
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
'Cause being there for each other
Is what really matters.
Though, I didn't shed any tears,
I'll still miss you all dearly.
These few years at Cav. are memorable.
The memories we made are unforgettable,
And you all are just irreplaceable.

I love you. Joseph B. Cavallaro's Class of 2008 <3
