Frozen Faith

by Amaranthine   Jul 7, 2008

Unfortunately I received a message one day...

The words she typed stabbed into my heart
Her brother now laying in acoma from an accident
Poor girls soul is torn to shreds
It hurts me to watch her linger over his bed side

Slowly being consumed in sorrow
I pray for him, for her, for the family
Only to hope for this imperfect world to except him back
Everything to happen for a reason..but why?

Frozen flames gnawing at her heart
Telling her he won't make it through this hell
Punishing the innocence for only greed
Prayers only to grow stronger

but the loss of faith was growing great ...

The next day skipping a breath just to hear
News of the frightening unknown released
Happiness overflows all my hopes
Joyous testimonies ready to be shared

Eyes frozen shut for what seemed to be so long
Finally awoken to the beautiful breaking dawn
Unable to let go of his shadows,
Faith was never blind ...
