Men are like shoes
never buy the same pair twice
there's a reason you threw away the 1st pair,
so don't get tempted by the discounted price

they come in all sizes
colours and textures too
just have to keep searching
for the perfect one for you

now i've tried the sneaker
not so attractive, but comfort they do provide
not so eligent on the exterior
but warm and soft inside

and i've put on the 6inch heel
that will have everyone turning heads
but beauty was all there was
cos the soul inside was dead

now there's the designer rage
where the prices makes us cry
like the ideal hubby on tv
we can look but never buy

and we've all had our moments
when our fashion minds were sinking
looking at photographs screaming out:
"what was i thinking"

But deep inside our woredrobes
lay a box we've kept
one that looks smart and sassy
and provides comfort with every step
