You have gone away for a little while
Yet I feel that it may be forever
I'm missing you like crazy
And my heart feels empty
Wanting to hug you till I'm forced to let go
Needing to see your smile till it fades
You've made me a promise
Yet I fear it could be broken
I love you and I need you to know
I miss you and I want you to also
A tear will trickle down my cheek
As I lay may head and go to sleep
I'm thinking of you and hoping you are too
I'll be waiting here until you return
Trusting you'll still love me when you come
