Once More

Once more

she realizes that when she opens her eyes, reality's going to hit her in the face
so she closes her eyes tighter so once more, she can embrace

she closes it so tight, her tears begin to fall
as a blurry figure appears, she knows who to call

she tries to put words into her mouth but all that came out was air
she stood there hoping and gave him a long deep stare

she only saw his back, hoping he could turn to face her
the more she walked closer, his image became a blur

her tears ran quietly and her voice so low
she whispered slowly, "if only i could tell you so"

as more tears drop she began to bawl
she slowly called out, "didn't you care at all?"

she clutched her chest and touched her heart
thinking in her head, "you broke it apart"

she fell down to the floor crying like no other
she only wanted him and not another....

she quickly opened her eyes to the world of reality
noticing that the world has turned to normality

she wiped her tears and gave it a big sigh
wondering why she had to wake up and cry

she smiled and laughed loudly to the sky
"oh my oh my, he was such a guy"

she laughed some more and wiped her tears
finally realizing, this'll be the last dream he'll ever appear

she clutched her chest and touched her heart
whispered aloud, "it's time for us to depart"

as her last tear fell, she did not wipe it away
she left it to dry and hoped that it could stayed

the tear left a mark for her to know
this last tear belonged to him and it she will never show.
