A suicidal night

by Roslyn Lambert   Jul 16, 2008

Sitting alone on the beach
She sat with her pain unable to be reached
Her head was a mess and life was a blur
He saw heard someone screaming and knew it was her
He ran to her aide but it was too late
She had already swallowed her fate
Please don’t leave me I need you now
He began to cry squeezing her hand
Looking at her sliced up arms when the rain began
She opened her eyes for one last time before rolling over
And saying goodbye.
