Tear stained mirror

by Whitley   Jul 17, 2008

She looks in the mirror
and hates what she sees
a girl with some body
and a full chest of D's
both perfect in size
what all the boys want
but her excess of body
make them useless to flaunt
the boys don't want her
and her cush for the push
no girl gets a date
when her stomach is mush
she goes to the mall
outside of town
for if the guys knew her size
shed be the class clown
at school in the hallway
all the boys stare
their looks are of laughter
not affection and care
they rag her all day
the star of their show
but what they've made her become
they will never know
shes a girl with some body
and chest of full D's
but she hides a sickness
that no one can see
she sips on the water
but refuses to eat
her stomach is growling
and her body is weak
she tells herself
that beauty is pain
puts her finger in her throat
and throws up in shame
as time goes on
and fades to years
she looks for motivation
no laughter no tears
but a perfect size
she would never be
but there was an escape
a way to be free
she looked in the mirror
with hate in each eye
she saw herself
and wanted to die
the knife in hand
she sliced her skin
in the moment of death
found her beauty within
