Teardrops

by Amy   Jul 20, 2008

Teardrops on a summer breeze.
Trees that have no leaves.
Petals fall upon the ground,
Crushed beneath feet without a sound.
A butterfly flying high and free,
soon to disappear, never to be.
a baby laughing in the night,
A mother crying at the sight.
The fire bright that warms and burns,
A cold man on the street that yearns.
Rain that falls from the blue sky,
coming down to say goodbye,
washing all away with the tide,
like teardrops falling from Angels blue eyes.
