Never saying a word

by Chelsea   Jul 21, 2008

I know this girl,
who on the outside she's an angel
with a perfect world, living life to the fullest.
but take a look inside of her,
and she's sad, very depressed
all because of one man.

One person can change her entire day, just by his actions.
One person can change her feelings in a instant, because of what he says.
One person has the power to control her whole life by his doings.
But the poor little girl never shows it to anyone, never says a peep.
The only person she'll tell is her best friend

She keeps her emotions bottled up, thinking it will do her better.
Leaving everyone else thinking she's happier than ever.

She stays up late crying in her room.
She's scared to go downstairs,
to her her parents yelling and screaming at eachother.
She trys to stay far away from the violence,
but it's only a matter of time before he comes upstairs.

Her mother cries, you can also see it in her youngest brothers eyes.
The older brother's just fright and yell.
the sad thing is, the oldest brother is a spinning image of her father,
so he will soon become exactly like him.

She lives a horrible life, but doesn't show it.
If you seen her, you'd think she's the happiest girl you've ever met.
Only because, she can hide it so well...
