Unreal

by Toxic Perfection   Jul 21, 2008

(Based on twilight by Stephanie Meyer)

My mind went blank
My movements stopped
My heads not working
My jaw just dropped.

My ears stopped hearing
The noise around
My hands stopped searching
For things un-found.

The only things focused
Are my eyes on you
Which seemed to be stuck
On your face like glue.

Your face is so perfect
My breathing simply stops
Your body's so gorgeous
My heart quickly hops.

Your skin looks so smooth
Like a carving from stone
Its also so white!
Like snow or a bone.

Your features are angular
So perfect, so sharp
Your voice is so beautiful
Like notes from a harp.

But the thing that will be
My only demise
Is if i look into
Your butterscotch eyes.

Framed by thick lashes
Your golden eyes smolder
With fire that makes
Me not want to grow older.

Its not hard to believe
That I'm in love
With an angel that looks
Like he fell from above.

But what does seem unreal
Is that all this is true
And that you just told me
That you love me too.
