Have you ever

This is not really a poem, a story or anything.
it just feels necessary putting this on here.
maybe someone else knows exactly how i feel.

have you ever been "preached" to by someone other than a preacher?
Been convicted of everything you've been guilty of?
Maybe they were not entirely right

have you ever been so ashamed that you couldn't even find it in you to pray?

have you ever been so upset that after you cried
& cried
& cried
there came no more tears?

the answer:
Yes

& no. i don't feel sorry for myself
& yes. i do still love you
& yes. i do hate you

    I like this poem. (n_n)
    here's a suggestion. separate th first half (preach, pray) from th second.
    you can formulate two really good poems from them (n_n)
