Beautiful Stranger

by Wishmaster   Jul 21, 2008

I've been here for months
Taking these pills for years
Want to break this for months
But my heart never adheres

He's the beautiful stranger
Tries to break this addiction
Unaware of the danger
Unware of the affliction

Walking to town
Wonder where to go
This addiction is making him drown
But he doesn't know

He's the beautiful stranger
Tries to break this addiction
Unaware of the danger
Unware of the affliction

Comes to chruch Sunday morning
Cling to a hope
His stench is like a warning
Yet everyone seems to cope

Someone stands at the door
With a smile toward him
Then his heart hits the floor
As this stranger hugs him
And says

"You're welcome here"
