This World

by I see what you want me to be but I am who I am   Jul 22, 2008

I am trapped,in a place of my own creation.
Caged,forced to face the pain.
The sad truth,the misery.
The fear i can not tame.
The bars are made of memories,
the lock of broken dreams.

In this world there is no true emotion,
nothing is what it seems.
The things I've said ,
run through my head like the promises I've broken.
There's no escape.
No turning back.
Fait has finally spoken.
In the back of my mind,
I try to find,
a reason to keep on living
in this cold world I've created
is dark and unforgiving.
