Zen and Tenderness

by Stumbling Shaman   Jul 22, 2008

Zen and tenderness
Beautiful tensions
The moment laid bare
revealing
nothing more
than what Is
and what is not

Meaningful frustrations and
needless encounters
eternally ephemeral
living
dying
reborn
with every
footfall

Uncertain and determined
gifts of
reason
doubt
faith
guiding lights-
making the visible-
indivisible the mystey
manifest

Indelible valleys cradling streams of
Life
Divided by frozen peaks traversed
and forgotten
even as
they yet loom
overshadowing
an already shadowed
path

The insanity
Of being
Shrouded in darkness
Before
this day is done
