Backs turned, ears cupped.
Words spoken, lips soft.
Rumors spread, truths untold.
Quiet now, everyone knows.
Lives shattered, emotions haywire.
Untrue stories, spread like fire.
Keep it secret, keep it safe?
Keep it shut, save the hate.
