Phone call

by Yours Truly xO   Jul 24, 2008

She spends hours, waiting for his phone call,
Sitting by her phone, anxious to talk to that boy.
She glances at the clock its half past 12.
He promised he'd call, so she's sure he will.
She's waiting and waiting, the clocks ticking away.
It was 12:30 when she checked last now it's almost 3.
He promised he'd call she whispers to herself,
She's listening to music to keep her occupied.
It's nearly 5, now she's getting tired.
So she gives him a call, but it rings twice and goes to voicemail.
All she wanted to do was tell him she loved him, before she went to bed.
But I guess he doesn't want to hear it.
She goes to sleep, hoping she'll wake up to a missed call.
The morning comes and she doesn't have one.x|3
*if you don't get it, it basically means, she put her heart and everything in the relationship, while the boy doesn't even care.
