Golden-Eyed Demon

by ScarlettaNoir   Jul 25, 2008

I remember his stare
Those golden eyes peering
Through darkness they shone
Right into your mind, your soul

I remember that color
The hue of mystery
A fog behind them
Always clouding his character, the truth

I remember his smile
So wicked, so frightening
His lips, they curled ever so slightly
Chilling me alongside those golden eyes

I remember his voice
Deep as the void behind those eyes
Accented with a foreign touch
Nothing else could make it more melting

And those eyes were so strange
So hard to avoid contact
As though he could read your mind
Gabriel, that golden-eyed demon...

I wrote this for a close friend, Gabriel. I haven't seen him since the accident with Nathan, and this is a somewhat poem to remember him by if I never see him again. I know it needs work, and I will edit it later, so please tell me how I can improve it. Just so you know, I don't really like to rhyme. I'm not very good at it.
